32. Oldsmobile 442 W-30 Coupe

32. Oldsmobile 442 W-30 Coupe

1968

The 1968 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 was one of the purest expressions of late-’60s American muscle - a sublime combination of luxury and brute force. It was powerful, elegantly styled, and packed with subtle engineering touches that made it both fast and refined. With performance of 0–60 mph in 5.8 seconds and a top speed of around 120–125 mph it was up there with the GTOs and Chevelles. Visually it had a curved aerodynamic body, a split front grille and Coke-bottle fenders, dual hood scoops unique to W-30 cars and red inner fender wells - a visual hallmark of the W-30 package.
