37. Chevrolet Corvette C4

1986

The Chevrolet Corvette C4, named for being the fourth generation of this emblematic sports car, kept the spirit of the previous generation alive, but with bodywork and engines in keeping with a new era in the market. This car had electronically controlled suspension, a reinforced gearbox with different gear ratios, more powerful brakes, and wider tyres that enabled it to become a benchmark for sports car models and to compete with the best and most powerful foreign vehicles of the period, led by the Porsche 911 Turbo.
